'Fairy' brand too gay for Aussie blokes

The Fairydown outdoor gear company based in New Zealand decided to change its brand name in Australia. It will change 'Fairydown' to 'Zone.' The former proved to be too 'gay' for some Australians. How can some people be close minded?

There's nothing gay about the product it just that its made from foul downs for better comfort.

As a matter of fact, Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay wore and used the brand in their historic climb of Mt. Everest 50 years ago. (Photo from: Fairydown)
